Sounds like you're well on your way with this trick. You've obviously put a lot of thought and effort into it already - I know your dog will be a huge hit when he's got it all happening!
It's a bit hard to be teaching two different concepts on the same obstacle, but if you just break it up a bit with something in the middle, your dog will no doubt "get it". You don't even have to do one in the morning and one at night. Just take a break from the skateboard for a bit and do something else, then come back to it for the change of action.
Maybe change something about the way you present it to the dog too - so he isn't confused about which behaviour you're working on this time.
And I'm sure you're already doing this, but I'll say it anyway. Try not to get too focussed on this and bore the dog - and it doesn't take too long to bore an SP, does it <VBG>?
